Step by step
- Agree the Incoterm with your supplier: EXW, FOB or CIF change who pays for what
- Confirm the HS code and estimate duty before you pay the supplier
- Book FCL or LCL, and ask for the cut-off and sailing date
- Get the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading drafts for checking
- Cargo ships to Karachi or Port Qasim, usually in a few weeks depending on the port and service
- We file the GD, you pay duty, customs examines and releases
- Container is trucked to your warehouse and the empty is returned

- Supplier descriptions that do not match the HS code
- Missing permit for restricted goods
- Late documents that cause demurrage
